My name is Allison. I hold the equivalent of a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry and have a passion for making science engaging, accessible, and meaningful for students of all ages. Over the years, I've taught both college and high school-level courses, and I now bring that experience into the homeschooling world—both as an educator and as a homeschooling parent myself. In addition to my academic background, I've had the joy of teaching in preschool settings, giving me a wide lens on how learners grow from early childhood through adolescence. I believe deeply in nurturing curiosity and equipping students with the tools to ask thoughtful questions, explore ideas independently, and draw their own conclusions. My teaching style emphasizes critical thinking, hands-on discovery, and respect for each student’s unique learning path. Whether in a classroom, online, co-op, or around the kitchen table, I love helping young minds connect with the world around them—especially when it comes to science!
