Literature Club

Class Description

Great stories are an excellent way to learn about our world both past and present as well as ourselves. Talking with others about these stories enhances that experience. We will have a discussion oriented time with everyone encouraged to participate! We will all read the same book together and talk about the story itself as well as themes, characters and a variety of other literary elements. We will start the semester reading Titanic: Voices from the Disaster by Deborah Hopkinson Course Instructor: Abi Craig I’m a 50 something mom to 6 adopted kiddos ages 5-20. My husband and I are both life long learners, and home based learning has always been part of our family. I have always loved to read and STILL stay up way past my bedtime engrossed in a story! I also enjoy a variety of kitchen projects, growing flowers and veggies, and getting into the woods to hike when I can.
