Wild Wonders
Wild Wonders
In Wild Wonders, we “travel” to a new country each week and meet a unique animal that calls it home. Through hands-on activities, crafts, snacks, games, fun facts, and pretend play, kids will explore both the animal kingdom and global cultures in a way that’s exciting, educational, and age-appropriate.
As a homeschool mom of two—one who loves animals and another who’s fascinated by maps and world cultures—I created this class to combine both passions in a way that sparks curiosity and joy in young learners. My goal is to help kids feel excited about learning, discovering new places, and connecting with the amazing creatures that live there.

I’m Catalina Lawrence. I’m a homeschool mom of two boys, originally from Romania, and I’ve been living in the U.S. since 2018. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Educational Management. I’ve always had a heart for teaching and love creating meaningful learning experiences for young children.
As both an educator and a mom, I understand the value of hands-on, engaging learning that connects with kids’ natural curiosity. I’m passionate about making learning fun, whether it’s through stories, crafts, sensory play, or interactive activities. In my free time, I enjoy baking, cooking, and designing educational materials to support other homeschool families and teachers.
I believe every child deserves to feel excited about learning, and my goal is to foster that excitement in every class I teach.
